Matchbox™ Driving Adventures coming 20th September to PC and all consoles 

We’re excited to reveal the first Matchbox™ video game in over 20 years with Matchbox™ Driving Adventures! Set to release on 20th September 2024, the game will be the first all-platform video game, coming to  Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

Play as a new driver on Matchbox™ Adventure Island and help solve problems for the people who live there! Along the way, you’ll unlock 12 customisable vehicles based on iconic, real-life Matchbox™ models. There are plenty of ways to have fun with two different game modes available!

The single-player Adventure Mode is packed with over 30 quests to take on, unlocking six different environments around the island as these missions are completed! To open up the fun for friends and family, Competition Mode allows up to four players in local multiplayer to compete across 14 different tracks, each with four variations, for the top place on the leaderboard.

Matchbox™ Driving Adventures is developed by Casual Brothers and is based on Mattel’s legacy die-cast car brand Matchbox™. Founded in 1953 by automotive enthusiast Jack Odell, the legendary Matchbox brand was created to solve a challenge for his daughter, who could only bring toys to school that fit inside a matchbox.

Matchbox™ Driving Adventures will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on 20th September 2024.
